Levi's Imprint Jeans

Okay, before I tell you my experience about these new line of Levi's jeans I'll first give you a little backgrounder on what it is. The Levi's Imprint line is very different from all the other lines of jeans Levi's has. Basically you can personalize the look of your jeans by wearing it as much as possible. Your body movements as well as how the personal items in your pockets rub against the jeans will create unique creases, whiskers and contoured patterns on your jeans.

One of the cool features is that you can also control the how your jeans will fade. After 30-45 days of wearing your jeans, wash your jeans in warm water to accelerate the fading process. When you get the fade you want, put your jeans in cold water to slow down the fading process.

Now, I didn't want to post about my Levi's Imprint jeans as soon as I got it. I wanted to wear it first for a month so I could show you guys the results of my first fade. First off here's some pictures of what it looked like before i wore it.

For a month I wore my Levi's Imprint jeans three times a week, I always had my cellphone and handkerchief in left pocket and my wallet in my right pocket. Let's check out the what happened with the jeans.

The jeans faded a bit and you can see up close that there are some subtle changes. I'll continue to wear my Levi's Imprint jeans and see what happens in the second fade. Check back here to see what happens!

How to Get A Girlfriend.

Well, its been a while since I posted a new blog. So to break the ice, here's what i got:

I found this "job listing" at jobsdb.com. It's a pretty straightforward way to find a girlfriend. Too bad the position doesn't give out monetary compensation.

You can view the job listing here.

Kobe Asia Tour: Philippines

I've always been a basketball fan ever since I was a kid. I think it all started with collecting basketball cards and just evolved from there but when it comes to basketball skills, lets just say that I'm more of a watcher than a player. My basketball skills on the hardwood pales in comparison to my skills on basketball video games. I can probably beat most people on video games but someone with some skill on the hardwood can easily take me to school.

Anyway, when I heard that Kobe Bryant one of the best basketball players in the world is coming to the Philippines again for a one day affair I just had to be there. Two years ago when Kobe was here I heard he put on a pretty good show and schooled most of the college players that participated in his sampling of his "Blackout" workout. (I'm looking at you Kirk Long you really gassed out). Luckily, due to the nature of my work, I got to score pretty good seats for this years event. Here's a couple of snapshots from the event.

Kobe comes out to a huge ovation from the crowd.

Kobe chats it up with the hosts.

Kobe faces up...

and drives to the hoop!

Kobe then ends the event by giving out autographed basketballs too bad i didn't get one. I was pretty suprised when it ended kind of quickly and it was obvious that the crowd wanted more of Kobe. Overall, it was a pretty good show with Kobe showing a bit of his moves on the court and showing off to the crowd. Mabuhay ka Kobe! at sana sa sususnod ibato mo yung autographed ball mo sa may area kung san ako nakaupo hahaha!

Smackdown and ECW Live Event

I've always been a wrestling fan ever since I was a kid. From Hulk Hogan dropping his patented legdrop to Randy Savage flying off the top rope with an elbow, I loved every minute of it. Like most kids back then it seems like everyone was into wrestling or had some semblance of what it is. Up to this day almost everyone I've known knows about the rumor about the Ultimate Warrior and his biceps allegedly exploding because his arm tassles were too tight. But unlike most people I never grew out of my Wrestling phase and my fondness for sports entertainment has gotten stronger. I just love the soap opera/ass kicking/entertainment aspects of it.

Finally, last week I got to watch a WWE live event for the first time. They already had 2 previous events here in the country but I never got to see any of them so I was determined to watch this time around. Pagkakitang pagkakita ko pa lang ng wrestling ring sa gitna ng Araneta, sobrang na astigan na ako. The Araneta Center is packed all the way to the rafters with all kinds of wrestling fans from different ages. Halos lahat ata nung tao dun nilabas ang kung anong wrestling t-shirts and gear na meron sila. Of course, I also wore my own DX shirt even though both members of DX werent there. From the mid carders and to the main event the crowd was hot. I expected a great show and all the WWE wrestlers definitely delivered. The only downside to the show was that it was too short. Anyway, here's the highlights of the show.

Level On The Outside Begins.

Obviously, this is my first entry ever and as you can see, I'm still working the kinks on my blog account. I've always wanted to blog about whats on my mind but I never got around to finally making a blog (until now). Why didn't I make a blog earlier? Well, I have a lot of reasons why I only started now.

1) I found blogging to be a fad that would someday die down. Hence, I didn't see the point of writing when at some point nobody would read it.
2) Laziness.
3) I don't see the point of writing down every single important event that has happened in my life.
4) For some reason the word blog annoys me. Can't the people of the world wide web think of a better name than blog? There must be some other cooler name.

Anyway, Why am I blogging now? The biggest reason is that I wanted to do something new. Just to break this cycle of SSDD's (Same Sh*t, Different Day) and who knows maybe this blogging thing will be fun for me. Let's just see what happens.

Time to start the ride.
